Our Elders

Daryll Hall

Daryll and Nathalie Hall both came to faith through FBC youth ministries. They got married at the end of 2004 and are both teachers, Daryll in a high school and Nathalie in a primary school. They are serving FBC as deacons and leading JAM. Daryll also heads up the younger youth on a Friday night. Together they like to watch movies, cycle, go game viewing and visiting new countries!

John Wilson

John was born in SA of Scottish parents. He schooled in Joburg and studied electronics at college and then theology at UNISA. He is blessed having married Claudia nee Koch in April 1981. Both were happy and grateful that she could be at home while their two kids (now adults), Lara and Thomas, were growing up. Some spare time is spent camping and enjoying the bush but their real and joint passion is the welfare of the church. John also serves the church in a servant leadership capacity.

Willie Ferguson

Willie spent his early school life in Zimbabwe and then joined Rosebank Chapel /FBC when his parents moved to Johannesburg in 1958. Willie has been married to Joy for 28 years and they have three children, Ross, Jess and Tim, who now lead the younger youth, IGNITE. He has just retired after working for forty years for Glaxo Smith Kline as a regulatory pharmacist. Willie and Joy live in Sandton and host a Bible study group.

Keith Gibson


William Leary

William is married to Melanie and they have two children, Stephanie & Darren. William was born in Durban but has been with Ferndale Bible Chapel since his father received a job transfer from Durban to Johannesburg in the 1970‘s. He considers himself a 100% Jo‘burger and even supports the Lions! William did two years national service before joining Standard Bank where he worked for the next ten years before being offered a job by one of his customers in the glass industry.
