Saturday Street Church

The aim of this service is to show love, proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and provide food and clothing to the homeless and needy.  It takes place weekly at FBC.

The homeless get a meal of soup, bread and a boiled egg.  Those attending are invited to stay for a sermon after the meal.  Prayers for those who are sick and those seeking work are offered.  Some first aid is provided for those who are sick and fruit and soap are issued at the end.  The soup is made by different families from FBC.  Assistance in taking the sick to hospital is offered.

If you would like to get involved then please speak with Trevor Webster, Richard du Toit or use our contact form

The 569th street store was hosted at Ferndale Bible Chapel which was organised by Doorway to Dignity.
